UP THE IRONS! For the 4th year in a row, Headbangers Ball is the most metal Blood Bowl Tournament in the world. This year was once again another amazing event with 18 coaches in attendance, all clad in heavy metal t-shirts ready to cause some on-the-pitch and real life mosh pits!

From the face melting solos & axe swinging mayhem of the Guitar Hero, to a Weather Table that includes Raining Blood, and a Kickoff table that goes to 11, the Headbangers Ball is one of the most thematic tournaments around. Did I forget to mention the bonus points for a Heavy Metal themed team? NAF Membership Guru, Mike Muller (Valdric), has a Blue Oyster Cult team he only brings out for this tournament, and adds more cowbell ever year!
Returning champion Lindsay (Fevin) came back down from Michigan to defend her Severed Head Trophy, but it was her league mate Justin (JustinM) going home with the head this year! Also, big props to Draxtar Games in Batavia, IL for hosting this tournament. Now that the GW Battle Bunker is closed, the only tournament where you can purchase a Motley Crew and Iron Maiden as inducements has a new home!
