Join the NAF

A question often asked is “Why should I join the NAF?” Former NAF president sann0638 wrote a list of reasons why he thought you should join in 2015. Whilst nearly 10 years have passed since he wrote it, the core of what the NAF does is still the same to this day.

If you decide to join, it is quick and easy to do so. There are two ways to do sign up:

  1. Join in person at a NAF event. The cost of in-person NAF membership is 5 Pounds, 5 Euros or 5 Dollars.

If there is a local NAF rep at the event you are attending then they will be able to do the admin for you to set up your NAF name and also give you your joining gift there in person. You can check out who your local NAF rep is here to find out if they will be at any events you are attending.

Even if they can’t get to an event you are at, they may be able to still help you out with setting you up, and get your joining gift to you via someone else who is attending the event. It will be quicker to arrange to get your gift in person than to get it delivered to you, and saves you a bit of cash as we don’t need to charge you extra to post the gift to you.

NAF reps may also have a supply of gifts from previous years which you could choose to take instead of the latest gift if you would prefer.

  2. Join online. The cost of signing up online is 10 Dollars which covers both your membership and the postage of your gift. This can be done by visiting the Members Area and filling out the form.

We strongly recommend trying to join up in person if you are able to. It will help introduce you to your local NAF rep who will be able to help you with any queries or concerns you have, they will be able to help you if you want to think about running your own event in the future, and more than anything else – they just love talking to other BloodBowl players!

Once you have joined you should get an activation email, and then can log in and if you signed up online to choose the gift if more than one option is available (click the option on the left). Make sure you are logging in to the Members Area, it won’t work on this page!

After you have signed up, your NAF name will be registered for ranking purposes and this lasts forever, without any additional costs. You have access to the Members Area of the website for year.

You don’t need to renew your membership to continue playing in NAF tournaments, however an active membership allows you to continue to have access to the Members Area where all the data is held, to run NAF registered tournaments, earns you the membership gift, and also allows you to vote in NAF elections.

Unfortunately, the NAF does not sell the dice or other gifts, the only way to get them is through the annual membership fee.

Coaches under 16 years of age playing in a NAF tournament can join for free! You can speak to your local NAF representative about how to do this, or contact us online.

If you encounter any issues during the registration process, reach out to us. The fastest way is typically via Discord.
