I remember reading a thread about shadowing and diving tackle, but i can't find it now.
What is the sequence for a situation where a player dodges away from a player with Shadowing and Diving Tackle?
Do you always add your total movement allowance to the shadowing roll, as opposed to the amount of MA you have left in the turn?

Do you get to see the dodge roll before deciding to use Diving Tackle?

With any shadowing you fully resolve the dodge before worrying about shadowing. That includes use of DT & rerolls.
Then do the shadow, which is always using the MA stat, not the amount left. |

So you can use your DT which puts you prone, fail to trip up the player, and then use your shadowing to chase after him again, thus putting yourself up? That's sick!
So what would happen if you use your DT roll - it fails, so you are prone. then you use your Shadowing skill and it also fails. I am assuming you would still be prone. Is this is correct? |

You're forgotting something spazz: in LRB5, a lot of skills are used after the dice roll. So, after the dodge roll, if using DT could make the dodge fail, then you use it, if not, then you don't. together with shadowing, that will give the following sequence:
- first, dodge roll
- second, choose to use DT (might be used to make the dodge fail)
- third, if your player is still standing (didn't use DT), use shadowing
And no, you can't use shadowing on a leap |

Ok, I´m not that sure of it after reading the rulebook.
Shadowing (General)
The player may use this skill when a player performing an Action on the
opposing team moves out of any of his tackle zones for any reason.
But if you can, do you have to roll the shadowing dices twice then? |

You can shadow a leap, but "the player with Shadowing may move into the square vacated by the opposing player" so you can't follow the leap unless they've lept to an adjacent square - but can move into the square they left.
Spazz - if you choose to go prone using DT then you don't have a TZ any more so can't shadow. |

Well, there are 6 "mutant" teams in 6th Edition, 4 being "fully mutant" (Chaos, Chaos Pact, Nurgle and Underworld Pact) and 3 being "partly mutant" (Chaos Dwarf and Skaven).
That's a quarter of all teams (1 in 6 if you keep it to "full mutants"). Enough to provide a healthy balance in a league without being likely to get overpowering.

| Well thats true, but if you want tentacle to work you have to put it on a big guy. And that narrow the "helthy balance" down. But pherhaps thats only in our league. Its more populare for the agile team to take leap than it is to take tentacle in the bashy teams. |

| I don't necessarily agree that you have to put it on the big guys to be effective. At one tournament I put Tackle and Tentacles on one of my Nurgle Warriors. It gave the agile teams a real nightmare! |
