BB at WW again!

Blood Bowl returns to Warhammer World at the end of May with a GW-organised event in advance of the impending new release of a boxed set.  There has been some interest in the ruleset being advertised as modified LRB5, but we understand that is likely CRP will be used, having spoken with Andy Hoare, the new head of the Specialist Design Studio. The “modified” seems to refer to it being 1300TV, resurrection, and with a different way of choosing skills, in common with most NAF tournaments around the world.

GW

The tournament is unlikely to be NAF-sanctioned, as it is unlikely to include Slann, Pact and Underworld, so does not fit with sanctioning rules.  Competitors will need to use 100% GW miniatures, in common with other GW events.

The NAF has been in touch with GW regarding this event, offering our wealth of experience in helping organise such things, and there will definitely be NAF representatives in attendance.  GW representatives have also been invited to the NAF Championship in Nottingham, just a few weeks before the above event!

  1. Use of CRP is a positive sign!

Hopefully we can look forward to sweet new models and very similar rules, and heck, even AV8 human catchers!

(Just please as long as it is not Sigmar Bowl!)
